Spared to Live
The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual.
(1 Corinthians 15:46, NIV)

My home in Portland, Oregon, lies on the 45th parallel, halfway between the North Pole and the equator. But you don’t have to live on this latitude to find adventure! When we ask the Holy Spirit if we can see the world with His eyes of fresh wonder, the supernatural world opens up in tangible ways. I challenge you to seek God-encounters in your everyday world, and discover their spiritual parallels.

Imagine the possibilities!

Warmly,
Lynn

I love getting a fresh revelation from the Holy Spirit!! He energizes me and fills me with awe!!! As I opened my spirit this morning and saw in 2 Corinthians12:2, apostle Paul explaining his experience with encountering God, describing the third heaven!! I had not read this in a very very long time! In verse 4 Paul describes how he was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which were not lawful for a man to utter! Those last words not lawful bothers me and boggles my mind! What do you discern he meant? I look forward to your insights and divine revelations from our divine God!! ☝❤

Hi Julia, I love that you come by and dialogue on this website. I’m excited about the 2 Cor 12:2 verse about the third heaven. There’s confirmation for what we saw and prayed in the spirit realm. The Spirit-Filled Life Bible (NKJV) says that “inexpressible words, which were not lawful for a man to utter” means that Paul was neither able nor permitted to repeat what he heard. I see Holy Spirit revelation on you and in you – and your God-encounters are on earth as they are in (third) heaven!

Good morning my dear friend Lynn, Thank you for encouraging me when God used you to give me a divine message from heaven a few unforgettable weeks ago!! That precious moment of time you ceased with me with so many others excitedly seeking, thirsting for a word of direction in that place in that moment!! I came to that Writer’s Conference with great expectation in Jesus to find divine vision, a special encounter with God and His precious people!!❤ When I was contemplating on whether I should go, I prayed and asked God if He wanted me to go? And He answered me right away, a resounding YES! I knew He had a special plan God had for me through you, Lynn! I just want to Thank you, again, I am so grateful to God and His timing as He knew you could be relied upon to be His vessel to speak through! Everyone around us froze in which time seemed to stop❤ ! At that divine blessed moment we were instantly thrusted in the realm of His glory, heaven came down to meet us that day!❤ Sudden ushering of divine words spoken to my thirsty quenched grieving heart brought renewed strength and vitality, and vision to my longing soul!!!❤ I prayed for God to restore to me the joy of my salvation and to fill me with more joy than I had before my dear sweet son Afsheen Cyrus Aghili chose to end his beautiful life on that cold, cold frosted frozen morning of December 17, 2013. My life with Christ for the past 34 years as a born again, Spirit filled radically saved woman of God living each day faithfully joyful, believing and hoping for my son’s healing for the past ten years suddenly, shockingly seeing the unforeseen right before my eyes!!! No mother ever anticipates for her son! All his hopes, dreams, swallowed up in one hopeless moment of an impulsive decision leading to his death! Instantly Silence, No voice, No sounds, only the dark grim reality of suicide Death where is your sting Now? God knows the beginning and end of our loves! Satan thought he had my son, but God saved Afsheen before he made that fatal decision that thirty two degree early morning! I am very grateful that God had a plan to save us from our future, past and present sins, He gave us Jesus to bear our sorrows and take upon Himself our sicknesses!! I thank you Father through Jesus Christ for your mercy and beautiful gift to us all of grace!!! Oh, death where is your sting? To be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord❤ Even in your death Afsheen you now reign and Live in the third heaven in paradise with our all powerful, all knowing ever conquering King and All Mighty God to Him all glory and power Forever and ever, Praise and honor we adore You Forever, Selah!!❤❤❤

Thank you! I am honored. I wrote out of my own reflections about end-of-life mental decline, because I am walking that path with my mother. I hope that on April 18, other people will be able to offer their own reflections on this journey, so that we can do it together.

Lynette, I’m excited to hear others’ perspectives on Christ’s glory, too. Congratulations again. What an honor to have you contribute.
