5 Things God Can’t Do

See you as a failure
“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” (2 Cor. 12:9)

When you’ve blown it, the power of Christ rises up in you.

Turn a deaf ear
“I love the Lord, because he has heard my voice and my pleas for mercy. Because he inclined his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live.” (Psalm 116: 1, 2 ESV)

Jesus leans forward and puts his ear to your lips as you pour out your pain points to Him.

Condemn you
“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”  (Rom. 8:1  ESV)

If you’re feeling condemned, it’s from the enemy of your soul. Father God forgives, accepts, and embraces you.

Scramble for Plan B
“The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.”  (Proverbs 16:9 ESV)

God doesn’t pace the throne room asking Himself, “How do I get them out of this one?” Your current experience is Plan A. It has His fingerprints all over it.

Give up on you
“ . . . be content with what you have, for he has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’” (Hebrews 13:5, ESV)

The Holy Spirit indwells you. Believes in you. Shapes your thoughts.

    Love this Lynn,
And don’t we need to be reminded.
The Lord gives perfect peace when I leave it in His hands. It’s His will not mine.
